Organic cotton: www.stanleystella.com
Stanley/Stella never uses standard cotton. Most of our clothing is made from 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is a natural, GMO-free fibre that uses less water than standard cotton. In addition, its production does not involve the use of chemicals (no fertilisers or pesticides) and encourages rotation of crops to keep soil healthier, more fertile and maintain humidity. Waste from the cotton ginning process is also recycled for the animal feed industry.
Stanley / Stella GOTS CERTIFICATION: 4 LETTERS THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING.
GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard label. The strictest certification for textiles made from organic fibres. GOTS tracks the entire chain of production from farm to factory: from harvesting of the cotton, weaving of fibres, assembly of items, to the final product before printing, including even the export of our clothing! It certifies that Stanley/Stella cotton is GMO-free and is grown without the use of chemicals and is processed and dyed without using any banned toxic substances.
GOTS also ensures compliance with the labour standards of the International Labour Organisation throughout the chain of production.

Print Ink
Compared to traditional printing processes, Shirtigo’s “Kornit DTG” printing machines consume hardly any water. They also use water-based Kornit NeoPigment inks that are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly. In addition, the printing inks are free of toxins and animal ingredients (vegan).
Packaging
Mailers
Out with the old and in with the new. The perfect alternative to plastic poly mailer bags is here, and it's completely compostable. Noissue ‘s 100% Compostable Mailer is a great step towards sustainable packaging, and can be composted both at home and commercially. Break it down with us.
Noissue ‘s compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. Our use of PLA makes up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource. Certifications and informations:
The bags are certified by TUV Austria; meeting American, European, International and Australian standards – including certifications for your domestic home compost. To gain these certifications, the product must break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions, including worm farm compost. After degradation, they must leave no harmful residues behind.

Stickers / Tissue paper / Tape
Noissue ‘s custom Stickers, Tissue papers and Tapes are sustainable and meet the following certifications:
FSC Certified
The FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products that make up Noissue ‘s custom printed stickers are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. FSC forest management standards are developed at an international level, and are then adapted to individual countries’ legal, social, and geographical settings, through national standards.
Acid Free Paper
Noissue ‘s paper stickers are made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated during processing. The pulp is also lignin- and sulfur-free, meaning that their ink won’t transfer from the stickers and the paper won’t leave behind any of these chemicals when decomposing.
Soy-based Inks
Soy inks are an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based inks, made from soybeans, a renewable resource. While soy inks are slower to dry than many inks, the process produces more vibrant colors as well as having the added benefit of not leaving behind petroleum based products when decomposing. Finally, soy inks have low levels of VOCs, reducing air pollution during the drying process.
